Large London houses available for holiday rentals are few and far between - here is a rare chance for a large family group or a number of couples travelling together to be all under one roof - at a reasonable price too. If 9 people stay it's under $45 per head per night. The house is just off the New Kings Road in fashionable Fulham and only a couple of minutes walk from South Park, the attractive local park. Nearest tube is Parsons Green (District line), 7 minutes walk, from there its 15 minutes to South Kensington and Victoria. The house has 1 double, 2 twin/doubles and 1 single bedroom all with en-suite bathrooms. There's a further bedroom with 2 adult-sized bunk beds. |

When not available for renting, this Victorian villa operates as a very smart bed and breakfast so the fittings and furnishings are of a high standard. On the ground floor at the front of the house is a formal "drawing room" (14ft x 10ft, 4.25m x 3m) furnished with a pair of comfortable 2 seater sofas, 2 low Edwardian chairs and a foot stool. Adjoining is the dining room with a table that will seat 8 comfortably, 10 at a squeeze. The pine floored kitchen/family room at the back of the house has an easy two seater sofa, arm chair and kitchen table with seating for 6. There's a small TV and a stereo system here as well as a computer with broadband internet access - you can also bring and use your own notebook/laptop. |

The kitchen is equipped with all the expected appliances including a dish-washer. There's a washing machine and dryer in the utility area in the cellar. The kitchen/family room gives onto a small patio with its own lighting - a pleasant place to sit out on a warm summer's evening. A ground floor cloakroom/loo completes the picture. |

The beautifully furnished master bedroom (13ft x 13ft, 4m x 4m) has a 5ft double bed and en-suite bathroom. It has its own small balcony overlooking the street. There are two further twin/doubles (the beds can be locked together) each with a an en-suite bathroom (bath + shower & loo), and a single (under the eves) also with its own en-suite shower and loo. Lastly there's a room with 2 comfortable adult sized bunk beds (3ft) whose occupants share the facilities of one of the en-suite twin/doubles. All the bedrooms are decorated and furnished in simple, fresh, "country" style and all have their own TV and fan in the summer. |

Local (within 5 minutes walk) restaurants include Mao Tai, described by some critics as "having among the finest Chinese food in London", Strada - authentic cooking from the Amalfi region of Italy, and family friendly Tooties. Your local pub is The White Horse, the old coaching inn on Parsons Green, known by real ale aficionados worldwide. A bonus if you have children is that the house is only a couple of minutes from South Park with its playing fields, (bookable) tennis courts, well constructed children's play area and attractive formal gardens.
