This light and airy apartment, on the second floor (no lift) of a typical London Victorian building, is owned by a successful author. Fortunately she also has a house in the country to which she retires when there are guests for her London residence.
The location is very convenient with no less than 4 tube stations within 10 minutes walk - the most useful being Paddington (District, Circle Bakerloo and Hammersmith and City lines, and main line station with direct trains to Heathrow) - 5 mins walk, and Queensway (Central line) - 10 mins. Lovely Hyde Park is also just 10 minutes away.

The flat sleeps 5, occasional 6 (child only), in 2 double bedroom, a single bedroom and a fold-away. There are 2 bathrooms.
The spacious and attractive living/dining area (21ft x 14ft, 6.4m x 4.3m) has a 3/4 seater sofa and two comfortable old arm-chairs round a long low coffee table, a "designer" dining table that seats 6, a desk, TV (sky package+ DVD player), Bose iPod dock (bring your own iPod) and wifi broadband internet access.
It is partly open-plan with the kitchen which gives it an even greater feeling of space.

|
The kitchen (14ft6 x 7ft6, 4.4m x 2.3m) has all the expected appliances including a dishwasher.
The long wooden worktop makes it very practical if you want to cook.

The master bedroom (17ft x 11ft6, 5.2m x 3.5) has a 6ft wide bed and is beautifully presented - unusually it has a bath in the room! It has it's own en-suite bathroom with basin, loo and wet-room shower.
|
There are two further bedrooms a double (14ft4 x 10ft9, 4.37m x 3.28m) with 4ft6 wide bed and a single (12ft10 x 6ft3, 3.9m x 1.9m) with a standard 3ft wide single. An occasional 6th person (child only) can be accommodated on a fold-away bed which will fit in the second double.

The second bathroom has a corner/liberty bath, basin and loo. And there's a washer/dryer in a utility cupboard.
The house is very close to Westbourne Grove and Queensway in a great position to experience one of the most cosmopolitan parts of London.
It is famed for its huge variety of restaurants of every sort and culture serving cuisine from literally all over the world, from Brazilian and Mexican through Indian and Thai to Lebanese and Iranian. There's even an Austrian restaurant!
This is a No Smoking property.
