Adrienne the owner, who lives in the lower part of the same house, has been a landlady here since 1965. Although it has been periodically modernised and redecorated, she has kept the overall style unchanged from that era. The property is clean and well cared for with well laundered towels and bed linen from John Lewis (an up-market London department store) and fresh flowers (normally lilies) to welcome new guests. Adrienne has a heart of gold and gives her guests an enthusiastic welcome, telling them all about the area and ensuring they are comfortable.

Sleeping arrangements are one double, one double/twin and one single. A sixth person can sleep on a good put-me-up bed. There's one bathroom and an additional downstairs loo.
